Lena Haiek is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) serving clients in the Glendale area. With an undergraduate degree in Psychology from UCLA and an Early Childhood background as the owner and operator of two preschool centers, Lena advocates for improving the lives of children and their families.

Realizing the growing need for accessible mental health services, Lena more recently earned an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She enjoys working with children, teens, adults, families, and the elderly. Lena believes all individuals are worthy of a safe and healing place to work through their difficulties, which begins with a strong therapeutic alliance with each of her clients.

Through a client-centered and strength-based approach to therapy, Lena believes that to understand individuals and their challenges, it is essential to assess their relationships. Lena draws from family systems, CBT, narrative, existential, and solution-focused approaches and is a certified anger management and life-skills counselor. Lena has experience helping individuals with early-onset dementia and providing support for their caretakers. She has received training in treating eating disorders and is very passionate about helping those who are struggling with unhealthy eating behavior.  In addition, Lena is trained to help those suffering from social anxiety, which can be debilitating to creating friendships. Lena works closely to help individuals challenge their fears of being judged and encourages them to push through the anxiety and live a better life.
